Ahmed Maaref, a Moroccan-born British chef, restaurateur, and author of cookbooks, was born and rise in morocco and europe . He is referred to as “Frank” because of his straightforward, honest speech. Being well-known for his take on traditional French and Moroccan cuisine has allowed him to appear as a guest on some TV shows and newspapers.

In 2020, he inaugurated Cinquieme “5eme,” a former restaurant, in High Wycombe.
In 2009, Chef Maaref and Chef Paul Rankin prepared meals for Her Majesty the Queen at  wellington college . Chef Maaref has also worked in some of the best restaurants in the UK and France, including Le Manoir aux Quatre Saisons and The Dorchester.

Ahmed Maaref gained success through his sheer determination and perseverance. He studied at top institutions and universities, where he also received mentorship from some of the largest names in the business, and learned the skill of French gastronomic cuisine. His credentials and honours are impressive.
In all the years he has worked as a chef of Moroccan French Classic Cuisine, he has never forgotten sitting with his mother in the small Moroccan village and watched her prepare all of his favourite meals. You can learn the secrets he learned from them down the decades by reading his book.

Ahmed Maaref, a chef and author, currently resides in Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom, but frequently travels abroad to host workshops as an ambassador to promote Moroccan food and the country’s rich culture.
